A family-friendly winter paradise with a view of Thun Lake and the impressive Niesenkette ridge, which stretches between Elsighorn and First. Skiers, sledders and keen hikers will find everything their hearts desire in the resort of Elsigen-Metsch, whether it’s a children’s playground, speed measurement courses, leisurely descents or cosy ski huts. A day in the snow here simply flies by.

Travel – quickly there and back

Elsigen-Metsch is very easy to reach.

Elsigen-Metsch is around two hours’ journey from Basel by car, and one hour from Bern. Adelboden also has good rail and bus connections. From the Achseten Kirche bus stop, the ski bus travels to Elsigen-Metsch valley station.
